We’ve now reached the midway point between San Diego and the Big Island of Hawaii, and life at sea is treating us beautifully. The Pacific has been kind, with just a gentle 10-foot swell beneath us. Thanks to the ship’s stabilizers set in the out position, the movement feels more like a relaxing sway in a hammock—a subtle reminder that we’re truly in the middle of the ocean.
🌅 Life Onboard
Our days have been joyfully full—enrichment seminars, invigorating exercise sessions, delicious meals, and top-notch entertainment each evening. The Captain’s Welcome Cheers made another appearance, followed by a Gala Dinner that left everyone glowing. And yes… we were surprised once again with some thoughtful pillow gifts awaiting us in our staterooms.
🍹 Tiki Bar Grand Opening
One of the biggest highlights: the reveal of the Tiki Bar on the Lido Deck! Up by the pool, the energy was festive as the Hotel Director cut the red ribbon to officially open the space. Think island vibes, tiki torches, and tropical cocktails all around. A fantastic addition to our sea days!
✨ Itinerary Update: Bora Bora, Here We Come!
We had a revised cruise itinerary but I didn’t have a pic until now—and it’s all good news! Thanks to guest numbers, a lower threshold to get into the reef we’ve secured a stop in the magical Bora Bora. This is a change from the original plan and a welcome one at that. Hooray!
