Today was an easy Lahaina day as we have spent time here on Maui from past trips. Ellie has never driven around the island, so in a convertible we were off to explore the Northern loop of the island starting with Kaanapali then clockwise to Kapalua an onwards. Points of great interest were the stop at the Blowhole and Julie's best banana bread, delicious. Maui offers great contrasts between the ocean and mountainous interiors, photo opportunities everywhere you look. We were back in time for a little retail therapy before catching the next to last tender back to the ship. Sail away offered not only complimentary Mai tai's and soft drinks but a sunset that seemed to go on forever as we left the last port of this incredible 2014 Grand Asia / Pacific Voyage. Time to start packing.... Yikes!
