At Sea - October 2, 2013

For those of you playing at home, we are exactly in the middle of nowhere. If you look at a map (or globe) and look at North America and Asia we are at the point pretty much in the middle. In fact we do not get to experience the 3rd of October tomorrow, as we cross the International Date Line tomorrow morning at 3 am. So instead of our clocks going back an hour, our time stays the same but we will wake up on the 4th. Not so fun if is anyone's birthday on the 3rd, they will totally miss out.

Last night we had our second formal night and the Captain's Black and Silver Ball, great job (as usual) on the decorations both in the dining room and in the main show theatre.

Pictures include our table, with our guest hosts, the future cruise directors, Thom and Tina Faulkner, dancing and of course Jan with Captain Eversen and Brooke. You will see in one of our pictures, Jan in front of a guest's door - some really go out on these Grand Voyages. This morning I participated in a complimentary wine tasting, just happened to have my camera, so I included a few pics from today.
