Last night we attended the first ever Pinnacle Dinner Event held here on the Zaandam and the evening was a wonderful success. The mix, former piano bar, was roped off for the guests participating which included a red carpet entrance. Once inside we were treated to champagne and some fantastic hors d’oeuvres accompanied by nice piano music. Glenn our cruise director then surprised us by sitting down at the piano and playing a few tunes. As it turns out Glenn was actually a former guest entertainer on cruise ships before falling in love with the industry. After about a half an hour of mixing in “the mix”, we were escorted in groups to the Pinnacle Restaurant, red carpet and some novelty items before we hit the photo booth and then escorted to our table. From here the pictures will speak for themselves as we were treated to an amazing six course dinner with wine pairing.
