December 12-13, 2022, At Sea

The wind down has begin in some ways but in other ways there still seems to be a lot more in tank before this Grand African Voyage comes to an end. Christmas is in moving into high gear on the ship with an amazing team of elves dressing up many of the areas, especially the 5th Atrium. We had a record turn out for the Cruise Critic luncheon today, Ron and his team did just a fantastic job serving over 300 lunches to the group - we thank Diana for organizing this with the MDR staff. Let’s see yesterday we had an excellent Pinnacle Dinner with some fellow CC friends. And tonight the BB King Blues Band blew the roof off the Main Show Lounge. On the other hand we have received notice of when our last laundry service will be and we will need to talk to the Luggage Forward service guy in a couple days…

A few pics of the past few days…

Quote of the day, “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
