Venice - October 16, 2012

Judging by how many stacked walk ways there were all over the side walks, I think we got really lucky here today in that Venice has been pretty wet. For us a beautiful sunny day upon landing and throughout the whole day. The First Class fight to Munich was indeed memorable, they gave us pajamas need I say more, just fantastically way over the top.... A small twin engine plane commuted us the hour to Venice, uneventful except flying over the Alps was spectacular and the fact that despite being only an hour flight they had to serve us a full meal, now that’s Italian. There are three bridges that cross the Grand Canal and in our usual manner of walking till we drop we crossed all three, whew... Tomorrow we will visit the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, something we have not done in our three other times here and then perhaps take in a Vivaldi concert at one of the Churches at night, depends on how we make in our embarkation on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Oh I think we are looking forward to emptying our suitcases. Here are a few pics of the day ...
