Welcome to Puerto Chiapas, Mexico, the gateway to the Izapa Ruins, Tapachula, Mangroves, Banana Plantations etc ... for us we did not even make it the Port Gate today. Yes, on purpose, it was one of those cheeseburgers in paradise days today. This port has a wonderful reception upon tying up as well as a great folklore show (ongoing all day, so great dancing and music), a huge grass hut pyramid - housing all things from tourist information to about 30 handicraft shops, as well as a restaurant and bar with pool, etc. We have been to this port before and the outlying areas so we decided on some retail therapy including an hour message therapy for me and a manicure for Jan. Great day, great formal night tonight and now two blissful days at sea. I am going to need to start rounding up a few boxes for our stuff...
