Surf
Our last few days on board this at capacity ship have found us learning how to work around the max amount of guests. On one hand it is great to see a full ship, this is a good indicator that cruising is back and the cruising market has returned. On the other hand, well, we learn to manage beyond the crowds the best we can. We have breakfast and lunch a little later and then our usual 8pm fixed table, so that’s getting figured out. The main shows are still a challenge, they really should run 3 performances, both the 7 pm and 8:30 pm shows are standing room only with people sitting on the aisle stairs, what would a fire marshal say? We try to arrive early to the shows but have now found that you need to arrive about an hour before the show if you want to sit together - and don’t get me started on the seat savers. Yesterday a woman with a scarf quickly went in front of some other guest and with the acrobatics of snapping the scarf covered 5 seats and said to the people, “these are saved” - who does that?
Here are a few pics of our last few days, usually at meals. We had a wonderful dinner in the Tamarind, Asian fusion restaurant with cruise friends, Ed and Dot the other night. Played some trivia with our Waterford condo friends, Harley and Diane; had a very nice lunch at Dutch Cafe (1st time ever) and then a nice dinner at the Pinnacle restaurant last night.
