Beijing - Oct 13, 2014, Part 3

Part 3 of 3. Concludes the Summer Palace and some pictures of our wonderful Lamb Hot Pot dinner. Moko walked us through the Hot Pot process which is basically a table with a huge hole were the huge tub of water sits. They then place a pot with briquets inside, this heats the water to a boil. The raw food arrives and using your chopsticks you cook your own food in the water. We had two different cuts of lamb, the lining of Ox stomach (yum), tofu, chinese greens and cabbage. This plus a few different sauces to dress it up sort of speak. This was great experience as last time we had the Peking Duck, I would highly recommend both. The restaurant we were at was very famous because Chairmen Mao came here one time to entertain another dignitary.

Our guide then checked us into the Presidential Hotel (5 star) where they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. This was very nice, two bathrooms, a living room with desk , huge bedroom with another sitting area and two flat screen TV. So we just had to take a few pictures of this. Day two will come tomorrow.
