January 16, 2019: Calloa, (Lima) Peru

We did have a little lay in this morning just making breakfast before they closed at 10 am, recovered from yesterday’s activities. So we decided on an easy day today by taking the shuttle to the Marriott Hotel in the Miraflores district. Strolled around the modern mall area with good free wifi before walking up Larco street and the John F Kennedy Park. On the weekends this park is filled with artists, painting and selling their art. About three hours all in before taking the safe shuttle bus back to the ship for some retail therapy ship side and a late lunch just after three. Time for a little relaxation and then walking a few laps around the promenade deck as the ship released its lines and be on our way at about 6 pm. Beautiful sunset tonight as we head further south to our next and last Peruvian port before heading to Chile. Ah, ship life. Nice dinner tonight as we welcome Marianne and Marcel back from their wonderful few days at Machu Picchu. No stage show tonight just a cute movie staring Antonio Benderas, Gun Shy - never heard of it either have we. An easy cruise ship movie.

A few pics of our day, hope you enjoy…
