On the 26th we had a true “sea day”. A true sea day is when you just relax and do as little as possible, we attended talks as usual but made no other commitments - we were just taking a moment to take in all the events over the past 5 days. We did have an incredible sunset just outside our window and the band did play out at the lido pool which was very nice.
The 27th on the other hand also turned into a sea day as our call to port was cancelled due to weather. Many on board were looking forward to our call to Luderitz, Namibia but alas due to heavy seas and high winds the captain could not take a chance with this tender port. We had a tour booked with the Cruise Critic group so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out, I’m reserving judgment until Tuesday. So anyway, another surprise sea day, so we just washed, rinsed and repeated from our previous day. Again another wonderful sunset outside our cabin window. Looking forward to our day and tour in Walvis Bay, Namibia tomorrow.
Just a few pics…
