At Sea – October 12–13, 2025

No Port? No Problem!”

Just because we’re at sea doesn’t mean we’re twiddling our thumbs waiting for the next port. On the contrary—our two days sailing between destinations have been anything but idle!

These sea days were packed with enrichment, entertainment, and a generous dash of indulgence. We kicked things off with fascinating talks preparing us for our next port of call—Fanning Island, a remote and culturally rich gem we’re all excited to explore. The presentations offered insights into the island’s history, traditions, and what to expect once we arrive, building anticipation for our next adventure.

A definite highlight was the culinary masterclass hosted by our very own Hotel Director, Darrin Lewis. With over 20 years of experience as a chef with the Hilton Hotel Group, Darrin shared both his expertise and passion in a hands-on cooking session that had us all reaching for our aprons. Guests learned new techniques, sampled gourmet dishes, and came away inspired to bring a taste of the cruise home with them.

Evenings onboard came alive with a touch of glamour at our Casino Royal Night, where guests dressed to the nines and tried their luck at the tables. The casino was buzzing with excitement and laughter—a true high-seas soirée.

And of course, no fall voyage would be complete without a Thanksgiving Dinner. The chefs outdid themselves, serving up a traditional feast with all the trimmings. It was a warm and festive evening, complete with gratitude, conversation, and just maybe a second helping of pumpkin pie.

It’s safe to say that life at sea is far from slow-paced. In fact, with so much going on, we’re finding there’s barely enough time for an afternoon nap!
