Today we activated our museum pass, first up The Louvre, saved about an hour with the Paris Museum Pass. Highly recommended by our travel agent, thanks Carla Nordin. The Museum pass comes in 2, 4 or 6 day options, we opted for the 6 day because of the length of our stay. We did want to see as many museums as possible and this was a great way to get all the great ones as well as some that ones may not think about visiting. Another recommendation would to bring along your smart phone and download the Rick Steves Audio Travel App. This app allows you to download walks and talks about Paris and area. For the Louvre he has a audio tour that we followed for about an hour and half. I brought a headset splitter so arm in arm we were able to follow along with his commentary, wonderful. Still feeling a little wore out from travel we had a nice late lunch at the museum, walked around a bit more and then strolled back to the hotel for an early night.
