Back to our Chess Hotel, great central spot and pretty new. All remodelled in 2014, so all very modern including free smart phones to use with your stay. Yes, free unlimited use Samsung smart phones. This is wonderful, punch in where you want to go and voila, follow the blue dot, saved me many times as it also includes all transport, from walking to taxi to metro to bus to RER - love this hotel, love this phone. The big highlight of today was our dinner and show at the famous Moulin Rouge. Wow, pricey yes, value, absolutely. Great dinner, not big portions but that's fine, great quality food though - they have a new chef that has turned it up a notch. Bottle of champagne included (starting at 90 euros on the menu, which is fine as it makes it more festive), then the show, wow, OMG. Google it, variety, check, costumes, check, stage presence, check, check, check. Unbelievable acts of strength and talent, check. Oh and the amazing beautiful dancers, sorry, yes topless in the most part, sorry no pics of the show allowed. Did I mention I went to church this morning, talk about extremes, lol.
