At Sea, French Polynesia - Feb 23, 2020

Love sea days and today was another very nice day at sea. We are cruising at about 18 knots on our way to the small island of Rarotonga, 32 kilometres around. This will be our second time here, so tomorrow we will let the weather dictate our day. From what I recall (we were here pre blogging so no notes to go to), the nicest beaches are to the left as you get off the tender, so we will see. Today we met the new ambassador team from New Zealand, Maori heritage group from the North Island, should be another great educational week or so. Tonight we had a wonderful dinner with Tom Mullen joining our table for the night as we celebrated everything Tahiti, fun night and great to get caught up with Tom, a true gentleman. We did have to cut our time short as we had to get to the show lounge because Anne Francis was performing tonight, always a great performance as she took us down memory lane with bringing many of the hits back from the 1970’s - great to see her back on board. Only a few pics of today, hope you enjoy…

Quote of the day - “Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.” Joseph Campbell

  1. I wish you good luck, last time we couldn’t go ashore because of the high tides, so we only saw it from the ship and we had a full tour around the island.
