August 12, 2019, Kinsale, Ireland

Today was our transport day, moving from one hotel to another. We started the day with a walk about Killarney, including a visit to the National Park - beautiful park. This park stretches some 25,000 plus acres and we barely skimmed the surface. We did visit the ruins of Ross Castle and did the short hike to the Torc Waterfall before heading south out of Kerry County and into Cork County. We stopped for an impressive ample lunch at pub / restaurant along the way, Mai Fitz’s, delicious. Murphy’s stout is the beer of choice when in this county, looks the same as Guinness but just a wee bit creamier. I must give our GPS Tom Tom a shout out, Tom Tom took us down some back country roads that there would be no way we would have found our way out had we tried this without it, we would be lost in these backroads forever, lol. She took us through the short cuts that really offered us a chance to see this amazing country side up close. At one point a guard gate opened up ahead and some couple hundred cows were being moved from one corral to another. I jumped out of the car to take a few pictures and a number of them stopped and just starred at me, I said thanks for the posed pic now moooove it along.

We arrived at the Trident Hotel at about 5 pm, check in smooth and easy and our room is excellent, what an amazing view over the marina. The Trident Hotel here in Kinsale is on a road named, End of the World Road, how cool is that. You know when people say, “I will travel to the end of the world to find you”, well, they are all here, lol. A few pics of our day, hope you enjoy...
