August 9, 2019, Bunratty, Ireland - part 2 the Folk Park

Leading from the castle is a Folk Park Village. This village is a reconstruction of the homes and environment of Ireland of over a century ago. Rural farmhouses, a village street complete with shops and Bunratty house with its formal regency gardens are all recreated here and furnished as they would have been at that time. Included in this part of pictures are the many homes and shops, including the bakery where they were making fresh apple pies (yum). The dogs featured here are Irish Wolf Hounds, weighing in at just over 100 pounds each. Also featured is an Irish Red deer, just magnificent and beautiful. Yes, there are a few parts today, just so well done here over the 26 acres
