August 2, 2019, Dublin, Ireland

Powered through the jet lag as best we could with the on and off again nights sleep, think we did okay. Headed down for last call on our all inclusive Irish breakfast, very nice. We did a lot of foot exploring today, meandering the streets until we reached the Molly Malone statue where we met a good amount of the wedding guests for our guided walking tour of the city. If you are ever in Dublin and are looking for an excellent tour guide, Denny is your guy. He is personable, informative with a great sense of humour and can pour a pretty good Guinness to boot. He covered all the main highlights, from the Temple Bar District to the struggles of the 1916 independence. Our tour ended in a pub where the art of pouring a Guinness was demonstrated, I must have needed a lot of practice as I had to going back about four times to get it right, lol. Funny how I got better with each pour. Tomorrow we are getting picked up by bus to head out of town for the big day, stayed tuned for more... Cheers!
