At Sea: Jan 14, 2020

Love sea days, they are busy yet easy. There are several activities that you could get involved with as well as great informative seminars or simply, not get involved - great to have these options. We are currently cruising just below the equator on about the North East coast of Brazil, waters are relatively calm giving us a gentle roll as we settle in for our sleep tonight. What I find incredible is that the sea water is about the same temperate as the air, so around 30 degrees celsius, now that is warm.

Tonight we had a Samba night in the restaurant, so the wait staff were all dressed up as well as us getting a very colourful boa as we entered the restaurant. Our Head waiter is Yohat, his assistant is Eko and our wine steward is the cute Kaye. We have a great team serving us each and every night - the benefits of fixed dining. We have one more day at sea before docking in our next port, Recife. Did I mention that we love sea days… Our thoughts do turn to home today as we think about our daughter in law’s grandfather (Papous) who is being laid to rest today - love to you all.

A few pics of our day, hope you enjoy…
