At Sea - Jan 22, 2020

We had another great day at sea with the add on today of a couple of very nice dining opportunities. The first was a Canadian only Cruise Critic lunch, very nice touch - thank you to our host Mrs. Barbeau for organizing, the second was the dining experience at the Pinnacle converted restaurant to the Rudi’s, Sel dl Mar night - fantastic. Started with scallop in a tangy, slightly spicy sauce sitting upon a bed of seaweed, followed by an incredible seafood tower , then some delicious foie gras and then the main course of delicate Dover Sole, oh my. Finished this all off with some crepe suzette. Will have to do a few extra laps around the deck tomorrow - okay more than a few. lol. Special thanks to the Schwartz’s for the dinner invite. Today, we also had guest speaker, Charles McClelland’s lecture about Ernest Shackleton today - brought back some great memories of last year and had me once again look so forward to cruising these waters once again. Just a few pics of today, hope you enjoy…
