A wonderful couple of days of settling in and getting out sea legs. Signed up for the usual activities with the exception of trying our hand at the water-colour classes, something new and exciting for us - well had the first class yesterday, we will see how this goes. Last night was the Black and Gold Gala night with Captain Mercers’s last officers introductions and raising a toast to his last World Cruise (He is retiring after this loop around the planet). The main restaurant was nicely decorated with the main offering of escargot and the popular surf n turf. A very nice evening. One more sea day before our first port, Roseau, Dominica. On the 80 days Grand Antarctica I gained 8 pounds so 128 days = ??? 🤪👍
