October 12, 2022, At Sea

Todays main feature was the Captain’s welcome toast and Gala dinner followed by the Black n Gold ball, and as mentioned the first Ball since the restart. All in, better than anticipated, nice welcome toast with all the main officers lined up on stage and then the Surf, surf n turf dinner, fantastic. The Gala Ball begun with Florin starting the dancing with the Ocean Bar band playing the tunes. You can tell this band has played together for a while now and are really hitting their stride at this point, the crowd pushed for not one, two but three encores. The final song was Crawford ripping on the guitar with, Johnny be good… A great evening.


Our first surprise pillow gift was the hand made, themed chocolates made from Jacque Torres who was on the ship for our last leg. This is gearing up to be a Grand Voyage to remember…
