March 14, 2019: At Sea - Crossing the Equator with King Neptune

To all ye officers and members and crews of all ships plying the waters of My Kingdom; ye mermaids, and sea urchins; ye whales and porpoises; ye fish both great and small; and to ye crustaceans and lowly barnacles, greetings. Know ye that on 6, 7 &14 of March 2019 there appeared within the Limits of our Royal Domain, Holland America Line’s ship known as The Elegant Explorer Prinsendam….

This is an exert from our certificates for crossing the equator over the past week, and along with this we had another great, King Neptune ceremony as we crossed the equator today. A very nice job from all involved, from the Captain to the deck hands and all participants in-between. We feel very fortunate about being on this last voyage of the this ship as it crossed the equator for its last time as the Prinsendam under the HAL banner.

Another special treat for tonight was an invitation to dine with Dee and Wells Wescott and friends, Eli and Michele. Another great day and night, a few pictures of our day, hope you enjoy…
