Packing day, ahhhhhh. Not my favourite time, so we delayed it as much as we could. Our day started with a towel zoo on the Lido deck - very nice job by the housekeeping crew. Then Tai Chi this morning then the Captain’s farewell toast - very well done and the crew video was just fantastic, nice job, Alice and Erin. By the end of it there was not a dry eye in the house, including the Captain. Then we had to have the special Sunday Brunch, yum. Okay then it was time to pack. Six bags later and we were ready, pretty much done by about 6pm, so I still had time for a steam, ahhh. 7:15 Adagio, 8pm dinner and our final goodbyes all around. 9:30 Variety show then back to the room for the final insertions into the bags - all out by 11:15. We thank our cabin stewards Harry and Farid for all their hard work in seeing our stateroom looking so good. Pretty good for us, we are usually panicking around the 12 midnight deadline - guess we are getting better as we cruise more, ha. Here are a few pics of the day, hope you enjoy…
Will prepare a final cruise wrap up soon, stayed tuned. We hope you enjoyed our Grand Voyage around South America over the past 80 days, we very much appreciated your comments on both FB and by email, so thank you for those. Will probably wrap this up in a couple segments, our travel home tomorrow and then on the entire cruise itself.
