Great night, great morning and great 7 Klm hike today on the trails in behind the town of Amalfi. Today was the day our leader, Danny, was able to test our hiking abilities. The hike was somewhat demanding with many picturesque stops but a good hike to see where we all are at fitness wise. We have a very good group, wide age range with everyone able to do the coming hikes with some great input from Danny. Our hike today took us through great green trails up to a magnificent waterfall (the pictures really do not do it justice). This trial is easily accessible from walking up the main street in Amalfi and where the public washrooms are you basically head in front of them if you are exiting the facilities. Proceed up a road about a block (100 metres) then turn left and you are good to go. Coming back the same way we headed to the beach and an excellent pizza lunch overlooking the Mediterranean, fantastic spot. Back at the Villa after a little rest we had a ravioli cooking demo followed by another fantastic meal. Nobody is feeling guilty with eating all as we had definitely earned it. Tour going very well.
