February 15, 2019: At Sea

Our final sea day for some of the guests disembarking in Buenos Aires in a a few days, we are losing about 105 guests and gaining about 170, so a little fuller for the next half of our journey. So this meant that a few activities had to wrap up with group pics today, IE. Qi Gong and Tai Chi. We were there for the Tai Chi wrap up photo. We also had our last lecture from the Antarctic Team today, sad to see them all leave as they brought that extra knock out punch to our Antarctic Experience - life changing and we are still all just awestruck. That said we have returned to summer so time to pack all the winter bundling clothes, yeah. We are back to shorts and short sleeve shirts and went for our first outdoor swim in the aft pool, life is good. We also had our 5 star cooking class today, very well done by the America’s Test Kitchen host, Davis. We learnt how to make pasta - I know for those who know me are saying, hey don’t you already know how to that. Well the answer is yes but I still learnt a few things today, call it some tricks and tips. So great class.

The rest of the day was all about enjoying the returning warm temperatures and sitting outside and going for a good walk around the deck. So another nice day, tomorrow, we are in a new port Punta Del Este, Uruguay and we have an early start. A few pics of our day today, hope you enjoy…
