February 24, 2019: Ihabela, Sao Sebastiao Island, Brazil

So while I was away visiting the Iguaza Falls, Jan with camera in hand visited the island of Ihabela with Michel and Silvie. They jumped in a taxi and visited this beautiful paradise known as the sailing capital of the Brazilian coast. It is a playground for for the residents of Sao Paulo some 125 miles away. With its dramatic landscape of cliffs, beautiful beaches and lush green waterfalls and tropical wildlife, it is easy to see how the island got its name - Ihabela means beautiful island in Portuguese.
