Sept 15, 2018: Dijon, France

Our gadventures day began with a walk into town and a highlight tour given by Sarah, 9:00 am. Well we could back up a bit and talk about the included breakfast and the technology challenging coffee machine but we won’t go there, we will continue with our walk (you need a certain type of degree to work this machine). We move forward.

Nice walking tour of the town as we stopped at various spots, including a return to the market for some cheese tasting and the history of the owl and how it fit into the city’s character. We had a nice tour of a museum off the tourist information centre. Grabbed a lite lunch and headed into Darcy Park for a lunch break and short nap.

Assembled back at the hotel and off we went to the gadventures Daniele barge about an hour out of Dijon. A very nice barge with a crew of 6, mainly female run, Captain and first mate. Fantastic dinner all with complimentary wine, we are truly in for a treat over this next week.

Turning in a bit early as I did not sleep well last night, perhaps too much incredible food.

A few pics of our day...
