One additional bonus on the GPS rides is that the guidance takes you to optional points of interest, in this case, two additional Chateaux, parc and Château Beauregard and Château troussay. I rode past both and the Beauregard Château looked so interesting that we decided to start our day here, only a ten minute drive from the hotel. Built on 46 hectares this hunting lodge dates back to the 15 century and has a very display and presentation. Highlights include the 327 portraits of kings, queens and nobleman all in the great gallery. The floor in this gallery contains Delft tile, only sections are shown for display purposes. Beautiful gardens containing the many interesting portraits along with each story about each person, again, very well done.
