Something new, something completely different. Okay maybe not completely different as we move ourselves into a 23 foot Canadream RV for 23 days. Yes, most go out for a week or 10 days to give it a try but no not us, we commit to 23 days. Size wise about the same, well maybe even smaller than our usual state room that we would be unpacking ourselves into at this time of year on a cruise ship. Oh, what a world of change thanks to the Covid virus. Shocking to believe that some still think it is a hoax. I digress, we arrive at the Canadream pickup place at our slotted 1pm time. We are fully oriented, informed and packed up and ready to roll at about 2:30. Yes, we had a lot of head scratching on how some of the systems work. Okay, so this one runs on propane, well and ac current but also dc current, yes leave this setting here, no but not this one…. Then the holding tanks and shore power and what to do when the campsite supplies water, do not put on the water pump switch…. Brain overload.
The “rig” drove well and with our GPS in play we arrived at the Coquahalla RV Park in the slated 2 hours, nice RV park, spot number 73 for us. Backing in, not too bad. We were all hooked up in about 20 minutes, so far so good. There is a Save on Foods within easy walking distance about a half a kilometre. We had downloaded a few Netflix shows for our evening viewing and called it a night at about midnight - I am sure this timing will be changing in the future.
