We had beautiful morning sun streaming through our back RV window this morning, what a great way to start the day. We had coffee and breakfast outside as we heard the rippling of the water against the shores, very nice. Around noon the weather clouded over which allowed us to break from our relaxation to take a walk down or in this case around stroll down memory lane (in this case beach). We were able to stroll almost the entire distance from our site to town which included stops at Jan’s old family vacay spot of the Falcon and our the former Starlite Motel, now a Holiday Inn. So many memories along with a few tears as we approached the Starlite Beach when we saw the original volleyball net posts still looking for the net and Rowena’s whistle to call all volleyball players to the water…I could easily see the ghosts of summers past, such great times. We then stopped in the grocery story for some supplies then to a pizza place across the street. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a slice or two. Walking back we hit the many times visited DQ for a peanut buster parfait, delish. Back to the site we relaxed did some wifi and some more truck research. Late dinner as we finished off the pizza and watched a bit of Netflix.
